For the London Coaching Foundation in partnership with current and former Olympians, coaches and sportspeople to ensure a legacy of Golden Sporting Opportunities for disadvantaged and talented Young people post London 2012
GOAL
To raise £1m by 2012 to give 10,000 youngsters a Golden Sporting Opportunity

STRATEGY
The engagement and participation of current and former Olympic athletes, coaches and sportspeople committed to playing a role in developing the next generation of British athletes and promoting the physical, social and economic benefits of sustained participation in athletics and sport.

- Active participation in GO4KIDS campaign Fundraising events.
- Active Involvement in GO4KIDS programme delivery.
The engagement and support of other business sectors.
Some who have already given their support are from the Media & Entertainment and Fashion & Beauty sectors
Community participation in GO4KIDS campaign "Fun n Fundraiser" events
LEGACY DELIVERY
Funds raised by GO4KIDS2012CAMPAIGN will go to delivering
- GO4KIDS - "Talent Quest" events, where young athletics talent will be identified and given pathways to develop. Talented youngsters will be given the golden opportunity of sponsorship to achieve their sporting dreams.
- GO4KIDS - "Have a Go Days". A golden opportunity for all youngsters to try out up to 10 Olympic events and benefit from the guidance of Olympian/Elite sportspersons and coaches.
Activities will offer participants the pathways and support to maintain their involvement and enjoyment in sport, and the many benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

local “Have a Go” Day
enabling the children of the regions boroughs to try out Olympic events with
